I’m packing and getting ready to head off to the Florida Writers Conference. A weekend to indulge in writing and conversation. I’ll be giving two presentations, but I’m not sure which I’ll be attending yet. Sometimes it just depends on the flow of the day.
The rain has calmed now but the wind is still “whooshing” around the backyard. Far less excitement than there was with Charlie, but any weather were I don’t have to call my insurance agent is good weather.

I found where the new theme files go. However, with Netfirms the process of getting them there is archaic. And apparently newer themes don’t work. So I’m checking out some new webhosting options.
I’m experimenting with Themes for the site. Unfortunately, I’m working through Netfirms which seems not to really offer much for support. They also don’t offer much in the way of onsite tools through their service. They are fairly inexpensive but I’m wondering if a few dollars a month more is worth the savings in aggrevation.
I’m moving the site to WordPress which will allow for easier editing and blogging. I’ve run into a few problems here and there but hope to have my core information back soon.
